Used buses for sale | When a speedy bus stops suddenly, why does it slip a bit forward?

There are two reasons why a bus may skid on the roads, firstly due to high speed and secondly, when the friction between the tire and the road has been reduced due to oil leakages from other vehicles, natural weather conditions like snow or due to wear and tear of the tires. Lets discuss every possibility separately;

Skidding due to high speed:

Buses are of 3 types, mini, midi and coaches. The minibuses seat up to 15 passengers, midi has 16 to 29 seats and coaches can comfortably seat up to 60 people. Irrespective of their size, every bus weighs more than a tonne i.e. more than 1000 kgs or 2200 lbs. For example the average weight of a minibus can be between 3 to 5 tonnes, depending of the number of features and equipment in the vehicle. Midi and coaches will obviously weigh more due to their larger size. Moreover, 15 passengers can easily add another ton of weight to the bus with their luggage included. The total weight of a fully occupied minibus can go up to 6 tonnes.

Lets, re-imagine the bus as a rectangular box that weighs approximately 6 tonnes. If this box had 4 tires and was speeding down the highway, then its weight would start gathering momentum due to the gravitational pull of the earth. To understand this concept, you need to understand the difference between potential energy and kinetic energy. When a bus is stationary, it has the potential to move forward even when its not moving forward, this is called as potential energy. When the engine is turned on and the bus physically starts moving forward, then its potential energy is converted into kinetic energy. As the speed increases, its kinetic energy increases too.

This is the mathematical formula to calculate the kinetic energy of a moving bus.

Kinetic Energy = 1/2 x M x V x V

where, M = mass or weight

            V = speed of velocity

So when this huge rectangular box of 6 tonnes, starts moving on the road at high speeds, its kinetic energy keeps increasing. An increase in the value of V(speed or velocity) automatically increases the overall kinetic energy of the vehicle. Its impossible to stop such a huge load of mass with tremendous kinetic energy almost immediately. Because as the box gathers speed, its entire body weight gathers momentum in the forward direction. As the speed keeps increasing, the rectangular box acquires more and more kinetic energy and becomes a force that is moving in the forward direction. This force is pushing the entire bus, its passengers, equipment and luggage in the forward direction. Everything and everybody inside the bus is being pushed in the forward direction by this force. Anything smaller in size and lighter in weight that blocks the forward path of this force will get crushed and go straight under the bus. So when you apply brakes suddenly, even when the tires have stopped rolling, the bus will continue to move in the forward direction until its acquired energies have been exhausted and the pushing force has disappeared. When the energy(kinetic) is reduce to zero, the forward pushing force will automatically be reduced to zero. Its important to make the kinetic energy zero to halt the bus. From the above formula we know that kinetic energy is the product of mass and velocity. In simpler terms a product of weight and speed. The weight cannot be reduced to zero, hence the speed should be reduced to zero to halt the bus, which can be achieved by applying brakes and turning off the engine.

Now we come to the answer of the question. The V also called as speed has to be reduced to zero the kinetic energy of the bus. When this happens the bus will halt. But there is no way to reduce the speed from 80 miles per hour to zero almost instantly. When the brakes are applied the speed will gradually decrease from 80 to 70 then 60, 50, 40, 25, 12, 5 miles per hour and then finally to zero. So even when the tires have stopped rolling, it is the speed that is taking time to come down to zero. Speed has a natural tendency to come down gradually, not instantly. When the speed is reduce to zero its kinetic energy will become zero too and the forward pushing force will disappear, thus stopping the bus. For example, when the bus is operating at a top speed of 80 miles per hour, its kinetic energy according to the above formula will be approximately 19,200 Kilo Joules(KJ). As the speed reduces gradually from 80 miles per hour towards 0, its kinetic energy or acquired energy too reduces from 19,200 KJ towards 0.

The time taken by speed to gradually reduce to 0, determines the time its kinetic energies will take to get exhausted. They in turn determine how long the forward pushing force will take to completely disappear. So if the speed takes 4 seconds to be reduced to 0 from 80. Then the kinetic energy will also take 4 seconds to be reduced to 0. And the forward pushing force too will take 4 seconds to completely disappear. Thus, when the brakes are applied, the bus will continue to skid forward for 4 seconds until its speed and energy is 0.

The above figures are for explanation purposes only, in reality they can vary drastically. Bus drivers are trained to drive the vehicle within safe limits so that they can be stopped instantly. When the bus is riding at speeds within safety limits, it stops almost instantly but they skid only when the safe speed limits have been breached and increased.

Skidding due to spilled oil and natural weather conditions:

Bus tires are designed in a way that they stick to the roads. Friction causes the tires to stick to the roads. When the amount of friction is lowered than the normal amount, the bus starts to skid. This can be due to foreign substances coming between the tire and the road. Some of the most common substances that reduces this friction is oil spilled by other vehicles, snow, dust, mud etc. The driver should be careful and reduce the vehicles speed to make sure it does not skid. Because skidding can cause accidents and be injurious to passengers on board as well as pedestrians and other road users.

Worn out Tires and hydroplaning:

People may think water is not harmful to vehicle drivers. This may be true to a certain extent but if the tires are worn out then even water becomes dangerous for the vehicle. So, what are worn out tires? Tires are specially designed to have gaps or channels on them. These gaps are called as treads which tend to wear out over a period of time. The primary purpose of these treads to help the tire maintain a firm grip on the road. They even push water way thus maintaining constant contact with the road. When these treads get worn out, they are not able to push water away and let it come between the tire and the road, this phenomenon is called as hydroplaning and can be dangerous to safety of the vehicle. Chances are high the bus might start skidding in this case because of the lowered friction with the road. Bus and other vehicle owners are advised to check their tires every month to make sure they are safe for driving. Almost 26% of vehicle accidents in the USA are attributed to smooth and worn out tires.

Many people buy used buses for sale to meet their personal and organization group transportation requirements. They prefer second hand buses over their newer counter parts because they are affordable to purchase. The used bus market has been growing by leaps and bounds in the USA recently. But, people should remember that used buses have been on the road for up to a decade. These vehicles have already gone through a lot of wear and tear and so have their tires. Failure in this part of the bus can potentially cause loss of life and injury to people on board and those on the road. Buyers should always opt to purchase fully reconditioned used buses for sale rather than those that are being sold as is by one time sellers. This ensures the bus is in top condition and ready to hit the road once again. Purchasers dont have to go through the tedious task of fixing a bus after the transaction is complete. With reconditioned used buses, they can start driving immediate once the vehicle has been delivered to their site. Moreover, if they buy a 15 seater bus for sale then they can use it with a regular license because commercial license is not required to operate a small bus.

Used Church Bus For Sale | How to grow a church congregation?

Congregation is a group of people. When you talk about building a congregation for the church. It refers to getting people to walk into the church and becoming regular members. People will become regular members based on the content of your sermons. This depends on the clergy so this answer cannot guide you on what speeches to deliver. But it will definitely help you get people into the church to get started with. This answer will cover the technical aspects of building a congregation not the theological part.

1. Rent a shop or a house to get the church started. A shop will be much better than a house because neighbors might feel uncomfortable with strangers and outsiders visiting their residential buildings. A shop is accessible to everybody hence its better to start with a shop.

2. Try to get a big billboard above your shop with the name of your church, contact information, prayer timings, mission and focus topics. A big bell is important too because most churches from almost all denominations use it to call the faithful to prayers. This will make people living in the adjacent areas aware of the existence of a new church.

3. Once the people start coming in you need to make sure they remain consistent and enthusiastic about visiting the church on every Sunday. They should have good attendance as well as punctuality. In order to maintain this discipline it's important to offer a bus service to the congregation members. The bus will remove all emotional and physical hurdles people might experience on a Sunday when visiting the church. This can be in many shapes and forms for example they are feeling too lazy to get out of bed on a Sunday morning and just want to take the entire day off, OR their personal transport might have broken down or needs refueling and a tonne of other reasons. In order to make it simple for members to visit the church a bus is a must have.

4. When a bus is purchased, make good use by drawing routes throughout the neighborhood. This might not make sense initially but it's important because the bus can be wrapped with the church's information making it a mobile billboard. When you drive it regularly through every street in the neighborhood, people will automatically get acquainted with the church, thus bringing in members from every street in the neighborhood. Even if the bus runs empty today, it will bring in members from the route it undertakes tomorrow. Never underestimate the power of a bus service.

5. If your bus is running empty on a particular route, then get your staff on board and interact with the local people on that route. For example, if the route has a school, then distribute goodies to the children, set up a community kitchen, organize a cultural event, distribute pamphlets, organize a movie or a TV program for the public - this will be a sure shot success because humans have a weakness for television and drama.

Owning a bus is a path to success for any church. Even struggling churches will revive its attendance if they can arrange a bus service. There are buses available on rent but this can be super expensive for a church which does not have a big congregation. For example, the hourly rate of hiring a minibus is $120 to $150 and hiring them for the entire day can cost $1200 to $1700. Can a startup church do this on every Sunday for 50+ Sundays in a year. The answer is a plain NO, its a huge expenditure and makes no financial sense. The easiest way is to buy a used bus for sale. Buying pre owned buses is profitable because they are 60% cheaper than a brand new bus.

If you can start a church and own a bus at the same time, then people will walk in sooner than expected thus increasing the overall size of the congregation. But used buses have defects just like any other used vehicle and need repairs. There are used bus dealerships selling used buses that are fully reconditioned from bumper to bumper and free of any defects. These vehicles may cost 15% extra than those being sold as is but are the better choice in the long run and will not need frequent repairing and fixing. Church owners should remember that a cheap bus is not the one you buy cheap, but it's the one that will not need frequent repairing in the long run. Buses require a higher degree of maintenance than other vehicles because there are so many people traveling together and walking in and out on a regular basis. In order to keep the maintenance cost low, it's advisable to buy a bus that is fully reconditioned with more than 300 body parts inspected, repaired or even replaced if needed.

A short Google search will easily help you locate a used bus dealership nearby. However, dealerships are not located everywhere, there are chances you may not have any dealerships in your state. This will require you to buy from dealerships that are located outside the state and the used bus for sale will have to be delivered to your site. The real condition of the bus depends on the type of seller. One time sellers will disappear after the transaction is over. However, bus ownership is a process from buying, owning, operating and finally disposal. You need to have a bus expert backing you up always for better advice. Relationship with a used bus dealership will go a long way throughout the ownership process.

Major Vehicle Exchange is one such dealership that has been selling premium quality used shuttle buses for sale to clients across the North American continent for more than 3 decades. We are based in Westbury, New York and have sold our vehicle as far as the state of Texas in the USA. All our buses are certified ready to hit the road by DOT certified technicians and we offer 3rd party inspection services too to ensure buyer satisfaction before making the final purchasing decision.

Majority of our customers are pastors and bishops from startup churches that have a limited budget for buying a bus. We recondition our vehicles in a manner that they are affordable to any church with any budget size. We also have 3rd party financiers who will finance the purchase of the vehicle at attractive interest rates. However, we always advise our church friends to ask for donations from their congregation members rather than making an outright purchase on credit. This strategy will help them save thousands of US dollars in interest charges annually.

Church Bus | Call 516-333-7483 | How do you transport the church congregation?

Every church needs a private vehicle to reach out to the masses and help people in need. Previously, they used a 15 seater van to transport members of the congregation. But in 2006, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a notification. They said that the vans are not suitable for public transportation. Because several cases we documented of it rolling over at high speeds. And its tires blew out during reflex traffic maneuvers. Studies showed that the van had a high center of gravity. As a result its chances of rolling over increased by 70% with more than 10 passengers. The number of accidents increased by 35% with more than 7 passengers. After 6 months the administration issued another notification about the unsafe nature of these vans. This time the insurance companies jumped in. They stopped providing coverage to van owners. And increased the premiums on existing vans. As a result, it became expensive to own them. Thus, van owners started getting rid of the vans and purchased 15 seater buses for sale instead. Used buses have revolutionized church transportation. And have become their first vehicle of choice. These vehicles are much safer than a van. Because they have an average height of roughly 7 feet so a person who is 6 feet 4 inches tall can stand inside the bus. To compensate for the extra weight, the bus has dual rear wheels which reduces its center of gravity. Thus there are less chances of a bus rolling over when loaded to full capacity. Moreover, it has a heavy duty steel cage construction. It protects the passengers during emergency situations. Due to these increased safety features more and more churches opted to buy a bus rather than a van. The used bus industry has seen a phenomenal growth in the sale of second hand buses since 2006. These sales have kept  increasing over the years with leaps and bounds. So think about a bus when you think about transporting a church congregation. Ideally, these vehicles travel up to a distance of one hour from the church and operate throughout the day picking up and dropping off people from their homes to the church and back. The dependence on these vehicles for member transportation has increased to such an extent that a church's normal functioning will be severely jeopardized in their absence. Big churches have fleets of several buses to transport their congregation, smaller ones may have one or two but it's the startup churches who are eager to buy a secondhand bus for their members. A church will find it difficult to grow and expand without a bus service because if it has 100 members, then chances are high, it would have 50+ vehicles parked outside its premises during Sunday Sessions. Thus becoming a nuisance for everybody in the neighborhood. In short, a bus is a must have to transport the church congregation.

But why buy used buses for sale?

There are several reasons why it makes good sense to buy a used bus for sale for transporting the members. A new bus should be purchased only when it has to be used full time to its fullest capacity. Otherwise what's the point in buying a $50,000 vehicle and letting it sit in the garage for 6 days out of 7. Churches do not require a bus for full time, most of them need it only on Sundays. There are roughly 53 Sundays in a year, does it make any financial sense to buy a $50,000 vehicle just to use it for 50 days in a year?? Most churches do not have the budget to buy a new bus so they will have to purchase on credit. By the time they own the vehicle after a few years, the total cost including interest payments can be $65,000+. Then there are other expenses like insurance, fuel, maintenance, parking fee, driver and staff wages that can put the total cost of owning a bus to more than $100,000 in the case of a new bus. Now, you get the point why churches do not buy a new bus? Experts in the used bus industry advise buyers to purchase these vehicles only if they will be used occasionally i.e. less than 20,000 miles a year and less than 5 years. Now, this precondition perfectly fits the church requirements because a church bus will never add more than 5,000 miles on its odometer. Even if the church activities are stretched to include other community activities like organizing public kitchens and others get together on weekdays, the bus will never cross 10,000 miles. Thus a church should always buy a second hand bus for sale rather than its new counterparts. When you include all the additional expenses mentioned above, the total cost of owning a bus will be up to $40,000 or a little bit more than that which is fairly affordable for a church that is well established among the masses.

What is the life of a used shuttle bus for sale?

A brand new shuttle bus lasts for up to 15 years and up to 300,000 miles. The owner sells it when no longer needed. By this time it has already been on the roads for 7 to 10 years and has registered up to 100,000 miles on its odometer. So the life that remains in this used bus is 5 years and up to 200,000 miles. Keeping these numbers in mind a church bus can take up to 20 years to exhaust all the remaining 200,000 miles if its using the bus more frequently and adding an average of 10,000 miles a year. 5,000 miles is what the church uses normally, in this case it will take up to 40 years to exhaust the 200,000 miles remaining on its used bus. However, it should be remembered that the longer you use a second hand bus, the more it will cost for maintaining it. Thus experts advise not to use a pre owned bus for sale for more than 5 years as it will cost more to maintain it. The used bus markets are full of pre owned buses and it will be cheaper to buy another used bus rather than spending more and more on maintaining an existing bus. It's always the members who pay for the bus and its overhead costs. A church should always find better and efficient ways to spend the money donated by its congregation. Its a wise decision to get rid of the bus after 5 years, purchase another used bus and start the entire cycle of bus ownership and member transportation all over again.A church should always be in contact with a good bus repair shop that will maintain and repair its vehicles on a regular basis at a price that is fairly affordable. Unfortunately, bus repair shops are not available everywhere and a church should maintain a good relation with them once they have been located. This relationship will last for decades and will help fix the various buses owned by the chapel or the parish on demand at a reasonable and discounted price. A buyer has to buy a bus and find a repair shop just at the same time because all used vehicles need to be maintained and a used bus requires more maintenance than any other vehicle. With all these tips in mind, soon a church will learn the art of owning a used bus profitably in the long run. Remember, a church needs a bus which in turn needs a repair shop.

Aren't used buses defective?

Yes, they are and if you purchase them as is then you are certainly going under the bus. As discussed above, these vehicles have been on the roads for more than a decade and have endured a lot of wear and tear due to the hundreds and thousands of passengers walking in and out daily. Chances are high, if the previous owner did not maintain the motor coach well on regular schedules, then rust might have entered its critical parts that need immediate replacement before being put back on the roads. This calls for a full inspection of the vehicle before purchase. For example, the anti lock braking system comprises of thousands of small metallic parts, if rust has taken its toll on these smaller parts, then it's time to replace them immediately otherwise the strength of these parts will be compromised and they might even break apart in transit casing death and injury to those inside as well as other pedestrians on the road. Thus there are two types of used buses for sale, those that are being sold as is by the owners and others that have been fully reconditioned from bumper to bumper with no defects. These reconditioned used buses will cost 15% more than those that are being sold as is but they will give the buyer the confidence that the vehicle will not break down unexpectedly that will require a catastrophic repair cost to fix it. All buyers are advised to spend a few extra dollars and buy reconditioned used buses rather than others. These reconditioned used buses will further enhance and improve your art of owning a second hand bus profitably. Once you get used to this art, you will be looking for business opportunities everywhere.

Major Vehicle Exchange has been selling fully reconditioned used buses for more than a quarter of a century, that is 35 years and still going strong. We owe our success to the long list of satisfied customers across the United States. Many of whom have become repeat buyers thus increasing our sales year after year. Used buses for sale | 516-333-7483 | Why used buses are ideal for big families ??

Buses are vehicles that're used to transport large groups of people. From point A to point B. These points can be either located within the same city or in different cities. Minibusses are vehicles that are bigger than a taxi and smaller than a regular coach bus. A small bus can carry 9 to 15 passengers are a time. So if you have a family that has several members, it qualifies to be a large family. When going for a family outing. You will have to hire several taxis which are expensive and inconvenient. If you have a family with 12 members then you will have to hire 3 taxis. The possibility is high that all 3 taxis will lose contact on highways due to heavy traffic. One may reach its destination sooner and the others may reach later. This will cause a delay in starting the event that your family was bound to visit. Moreover, children will not be able to enjoy the journey. Since they have'en separated from each other. The same goes for your pets.

How would it be, if you had your short bus to transport your family of 12 members?? If your family has a disabled member. Then you can opt for short buses that're equipped with wheelchair lifts. These small buses can accommodate up to 2 wheelchair positions. They have 3 to 5 double flip seats. Hence the passenger seating and wheelchair accommodation gets adjusted as per requirements. These buses are ideal for family transportation. Even for large groups of individual persons.

But you may think that new buses for sale are expensive. So how can a three taxi ride be expensive?? You are right in your calculations. New buses are expensive and they depreciate up to 1/3rd of their value. This depreciation is in the first year irrespective of the mileage traveled. New buses for sale can cost anywhere between $50,000 to $100,000. Depending on the vehicle's size and seating capacity. The price also depends on the type of engine. Whether it is diesel or gasoline. A new bus with automatic transmission costs more than a bus with manual transmission.

Whereas, if you buy used buses for sale. You can get a used bus in excellent condition from $15,000 to $25,000. It depends on the preowned bus's age and mileage. Of course, other factors count as well. Like engine type, transmission type, size, seating capacity & wheelchair lift. But, you can get possession of the bus for less than $25,0000. Used buses for sale listed on Craigslist and eBay are far cheaper. But you should be cautious of buying such cheap buses for sale.

Think about it. A used bus is a vehicle that has been in use for less than 200,000 miles. After traveling thousands of miles the secondhand bus for sale acquires a lot of wear and tear. On its mechanical as well as electrical equipment. The seller of these used buses for sale will repaint the bus and change its seats to make a quick sale. They will list such buses as refurbished buses for sale. Yet, these buses are not refurbished in the smallest sense. Used buses for sale that undergo a thorough reconditioning process. Are subjected to checks, inspections & repairs. Replacement's done if necessary on more than 1000 parts and equipment. This process of reconditioning increases the life of used buses for sale. Hence you get a secondhand bus for sale that has a long-life. It has already gone through the depreciation process. This saves you a lot of money. Your 2nd hand bus will never lose its value in the market.

If you want to use your bus for less than 20,000 miles and less than 5 years then you need to look for used buses for sale. But, if you want to use your bus longer, then you need to be on the new buses for sale market. A church never adds more than 5,000 miles on its buses. If you use your bus once or twice a week then you will never cross the 20,000 miles per year threshold.

Used buses for sale are affordable and customizable. This is a luxury that you will never get with new buses. With used buses, you can add or remove any part and equipment. Moreover, insurance companies charge less premium on used buses for sale. Since they're purchased at a lower price. The registration fee is less for used buses since it's calculated by the sale price.

Keeping all these numbers and prices in mind. You will find used buses for sale more economical and valuable than a new bus. Minibusses are easy to park and maneuver in narrow streets. You will never be stuck with your used minibus. Neither financially nor on the roads.

Used Buses For Sale | Call 516-333-7483 | How to start a tour business with used buses??

According to the American Bus Association, Tour buses make up to 40% of the industry. This means there is a huge demand for tour buses. They get tourists moving around various cities and site seeing spots. The primary task of a tour bus is to carry tourists. Around various sightseeing and tourist destinations. The tourists can be either domestic or International. Either way, you will need a vehicle that can transport a large number of people at the same time. The most ideal vehicle for group transportation is the bus. A bus that's used in the tourism industry and carries tourists to various locations is a Tour Bus.

Whether you have domestic or international passengers. You will need a bus that looks and feels good. Tourists don't want to travel on a shabby bus. When hopping on a bus, the first thing people look for is how the bus looks and feels??? So you need a bus that is clean and packed with creature friendly equipment. Like Air conditioners, heaters, entertainment systems, luxury seats, big windows, etc.

You can get all the above amenities in new buses for sale. But, new buses are expensive and most start-up businesses can't afford it. You can opt for used buses for sale, but these vehicles have been in use for several years. Their electrical and mechanical equipment has gone through a lot of wear and tear. So do their interiors and exteriors. Such a bus will not be in good shape to operate as a tour bus. What you need is something between. Something affordable than a new bus for sale and in better condition than a used bus for sale.

The solution's reconditioned or refurbished used buses for sale. These used buses for sale are available with used bus dealerships. They buy used buses from private owners. They then repaint the bus. Clean its interiors as well as exteriors. Finally, they check, repair and replace if needed, more than 1000 parts and equipment's in the bus. This make the bus fit for any use. After the reconditioning process's completed. They get their used buses for sale certified ready to hit the road. From the department of transportation. Hence you get a used bus for sale that is in perfect working condition. They have luxurious interiors and excellent exteriors. These used buses for sale look as good as new buses. When you stand next to a refurbished used bus for sale and a new bus for sale. You will not be able to tell the difference between the two vehicles. These are the buses fit to operate as a Tour bus.

New buses for sale can cost you more than $100,000. But, reconditioned used buses for sale cost less than $25,000. Cost depends on the vehicle's mileage and age. Now, you see how affordable it is to buy reconditioned used buses for sale??? If you don't have the cash to pay upfront or have a bad credit history, no worries. The dealership will have a list of financiers ready to help finance your buy. And the interest rates will be too attractive to ignore.

When you compare new buses with used buses for sale then you need to keep a few metrics in mind. First of all the used buses for sale depreciate less on the road compared to new buses. A new bus will depreciate up to 30% in the first year of being on the road. So why pay up to $100,000 and get a bus that is going to lose its value??? With used buses for sale, you get value for your money. Since the vehicle has already gone through the depreciation process.
If you want to use the bus for more than 5 years and put more than 20,000 miles , then you need to buy a new bus. But, if you need the bus for less than 5 years and struggle to put 20,000 miles , then you need a used bus. A church bus will always struggle to put 20,000 miles . They don't makeup 5,000 miles and can make 10,000 miles if overstretched. if your need is as good as that of a church bus, then you need preowned buses for sale.

With all the facts mentioned above. If you think refurbished used buses for sale are the vehicles that your business needs. Then visit Major Vehicle Exchange at the link mentioned above. Used buses for sale are vehicles that's used and have a seating capacity ranging from 15 seats to 57 seats. Sometimes more than that. These used buses get used by their previous owners for quite some time. And have acquired hundreds and even thousands of miles on their odometer. A bus falls into the used bus category if it has clocked less than 200,000 miles. Anything more than this would be in bad shape. Due to the wear and tear the bus has to endure over the years and on the road and it is not worth your time and money. Never buy a used bus that has more than 200,000 miles no matter how rosy the deal my look like. With that said, it will be better and safe to buy a secondhand bus that has less than 150,000 miles.

A used bus has gone through a lot of wear and tear on its interiors, exteriors, electrical and mechanical equipment's over the past several years and being on the road for thousands of miles. Every used bus needs repairs and its not advisable to purchase them as-is. Who is going to repair the bus once you buy it??? Are you going to do it??? Do you want to waste your time, energy and resources repairing it after the purchase or do you want to get down to the business of transporting people right after the purchase??? Think about the downtime your business has to suffer due to the repairs and fixes your bus will need frequently. Not only that, people will be traveling in your bus so you need to make sure your bus is people-friendly. Though a bit more expensive it is advisable to buy a reconditioned bus because it will be with you for a very long time. It won't throw up unexpected or catastrophic repairs and its interior and exteriors are as good as a new bus.
